Melodies of Life

Alone for a while, I’ve been searching through the dark
For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart
To weave by picking up the pieces that remain
Melodies of life, love’s lost refrain.
Our paths, they did cross, though I cannot say just why
We met, we laughed, we held on fast and then we said goodbye
And who’ll hear the echoes of the stories never told?
Let them ring out loud ‘til they unfold
In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me
Though you’re gone, I still believe that you can call out my name
A voice from the past, joining yours and mine
Adding up the layers of harmony
And so it goes on and on
Melodies of life to the sky beyond the flying birds
Forever and beyond
So far and away see the bird as it flies by
Gliding through the shadows of the clouds up in the sky
I’ve laid my memories and dreams upon those wings,
Leave them now and see what tomorrow brings
In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me?
Was it fate that brought us close and now leaves me behind?
A voice from the past, joining yours and mine
Adding up the layers of harmony
And so it goes on and on
Melodies of life to the sky beyond the flying birds
Forever and on
If I should leave this lonely world behind
Your voice will still remember our melody
Now I know we’ll carry on
Melodies of life come circle round and grow deep in our hearts
As long as we remember

Quick Throw

Nothing much since the last post~

I've been really busy with work lately. Barely fitting time into study, write, play guitar, talk with friends, eat, use the bathroom, shower, play with little sister, make this post, check facebook, check my email, eat, drive, listen to music, do Kendo, work out, work, and did I mention eat?

Lots of Tech coming out, I'll have a recap of the week on Friday with whatever got released and I missed~

Recaps~

The Imaginary Wall is always around here and what not. Are there Imaginary Walls between you and people or your goals? Kick it down~!

~Recap of Week~
I recently got hired by St. Jude Medical, working in their Engineering Department as IT Specialist. Excited about that, I dive into tons of work. 3 jobs, school, and Friends~ Ridiculous stuff.

The phone I really want is released, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

Such a sexy phone~ We'll see if it gets subsidized and gets thrown to a Carrier in the US. Hopefully ATT will snatch it, but with that note, the iPhone 4.0 OS is being released. Ridiculous new stuff they are bringing out. The Multitasking is great, but too bad its not a true multitasking implementation. The rest of the stuff, I couldn't really care about, but others are excited for the new release. We'll see when it comes out~ Direction Competition with Android and Windows 7 Mobile, which looks amazing by the way.

Not much planned for the weekend. Maybe I'll get some Light Painting shot this weekend. Its going to be a rough next week to get my scheduling figured out for everything, but I think I'll make it no problem.

Oh, if you haven't seen~

The kid is amazing~ Congrats to Lin Yu Chun for winning the 1 Million Dollars and getting a Contact =3

Updates

Finally,

I've been able to get this place updated. Had to redo my MySql database, but that's all taken care of. Running the latest version of WordPress finally, after what? 6 months or something of no updates.

Lots of new things in life, but I'll talk about that another day.

Happy Easter~!

iPhone 3GS Encryption “Useless”

Taken from Wired~

Apple claims that hundreds of thousands of iPhones are being used by corporations and government agencies. What it won’t tell you is that the supposedly enterprise-friendly encryption included with the iPhone 3GS is so weak it can be cracked in two minutes with a few pieces of readily available freeware.
Wondering where the encryption comes into play? It doesn’t. Strangely, once one begins extracting data from an iPhone 3GS, the iPhone begins to decrypt the data on its own, he said.

Interesting. I could do this so quickly with my current toolset. Anyone else out there have experience with hacking iPhone?

Hope you dont get your iPhone stolen!

Minneapolis-Based Artist, Jeremy Messersmith

Minneapolis artist, Jeremy Messersmith, played an hour-long show on the St. Paul Terrace of the University of Minnesota campus today.  Lunch-goers, music enthusiasts, and passersby enjoyed a free performance as part of the 'Noontime' summer concert series.

7:02
According to Messersmith during today's performance of 'Snow Day', a song from his 2006 album The Alcatraz Kid, he grew up in the desert.  Originally a man from southern Washington State, he later moved in Minneapolis in 1999.

In 2004, Messersmith began playing solo shows in Minneapolis, eventually gaining the attention of  Princess Records, a Minneapolis-based company.  By 2006, The Alcatraz Kid hit store shelves and songs like 'Novocain' and 'Beautiful Children' caught the attention of local radio stations.

Since the production of his 2006 album, Messersmith has partnered with producer Dan Wilson (Semisonic, Trip Shakespeare) to release the 2008 album, The Silver City.  Sample some of his latest hits now on his MySpace page, or purchase his CDs online.
